What Brewers Does PUrPod100™ Work In?

Club Coffee® pods were created with sustainability in mind and designed to work in as many K-Cup®* style brewers as possible. Our rigorous testing ensures that you have a positive experience with our delicious, compostable** coffee pods.

There are dozens of brewer makes and models that brew our PῧrPod100™ compostable** pods and we constantly review them to ensure they work with our eco-friendly pods.

New brewing technologies can affect how our pods work. If you have one of the new Keurig®* K-Supreme™* and K-Supreme Plus™* brewers that use MultiStream Brewing Technology™* you may experience some issues with lid puncturing performance on our compostable** pods.

To address this issue, we have developed the new BrewBoostR™ brewer adapter.

Our innovation experts are also working on new pod designs that will ensure the same great performance across Keurig®’s* K-Cup®* brewers that consumers have always enjoyed.

About BrewBoostR™

What is a BrewBoostR™?

The BrewBoostR™ is a small adapter for the brewing chamber of Keurig®* K-Supreme™* / K-Supreme Plus™* brewers.

It slightly raises the chamber height for ideal brewing of PῧrPod100™ compostable** pods. Installing the BrewboostR™ will still allow the brewer to brew conventional hard cup, K-Cup®* style pods.

How do I install the BrewBoostR™?

If you’ve already received your free BrewBoostR™, you can insert it into your K-Supreme™* / K-Supreme Plus™* brewer by following the steps below.

Caution:

  • These steps should only be performed by an adult.
  • Using this tool may affect your Keurig®* warranty.
  • BrewBoostR™, although made from food-safe materials, is not consumable and is not a toy, and should be kept out of the reach of children.
  • Be careful to avoid the needles as they are quite sharp and could cause injury.

Installing Brewboostr™

  1. Ensure the brewer has had time to cool since the last brew.
  2. Turn the brewer off.
  3. Unplug the brewer.
  1. Caution: There are sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup®* pods located above the K-Cup®* pod holder and in the bottom of the K-Cup®* pod holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the K-Cup® pod holder.
    Lift the handle to open the brewing chamber.
  2. If there is a used pod or K-Cup®* pod, remove it.
  3. Remove the K-Cup®* pod holder from the brewer by grasping the top of it with one hand while pushing up on the bottom of it from underneath with the other hand until it releases.
  4. Set aside the K-Cup®* pod holder.
  1. Orient the BrewBoostR™ in the brewing chamber, using the two front ribs as a guide and snap into place from the top.
  1. After inserting the BrewBoostR™, reinsert the K-Cup®* pod holder by aligning it with the opening using the two front ribs as a guide and snap into place from the top.
  1. Close the brewing chamber.
  2. Once the chamber is closed, place your mug under the dispenser and run a test brew with hot water.

How do I uninstall the BrewBoostR™?

If you’ve already installed your BrewBoostR™ into your K-Supreme™* / K-Supreme Plus™* brewer, you can remove it by following the steps below.

UnInstalling Brewboostr™

  1. Ensure the brewer has had time to cool since the last brew.
  2. Turn the brewer off.
  3. Unplug the brewer.
  1. CAUTION: There are sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup®* pods located above the K-Cup®* pod holder and in the bottom of the K-Cup®* pod holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the K-Cup®* pod holder.

    Remove the K-Cup®* pod holder from the brewer by grasping the top of it with one hand while pushing up on the bottom of it from underneath with the other hand until it releases.
  1. Grab the BrewBoostR™ with your thumb and forefinger. Gently flex the BrewBoostR™ upwards until the tabs are free from the lip.
  1. Reinsert the K-Cup®* pod holder by aligning it with the opening using the two front ribs as a guide and snap into place from the top. Close the brewing chamber. Place your mug under the dispenser and run a test brew with hot water. Your BrewBoostR™ is now uninstalled!
